This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
I'm sure you've heard about the Daybreak community because, really, who hasn't? It's a world-class neighborhood with all kinds of amenities.
And these are serious amenities I'm talking about like community gardens where you can get your very own farm fresh produce. Schools are within walking distance of the beautiful uniquely designed homes which, incidentally, come in 112 colors besides beige. Interestingly, 71 percent of students walk or bike to school. How many communities can say that?
And for those who love the great outdoors. . . Daybreak has 22 miles of trails, as well as the beautiful Oquirrh Lake right at its center. It also has a healthy collection of parks, swimming pools and tree-lined streets.
Of course the community wouldn't be complete without the top-notch businesses that are adding commerce and economic prosperity. This includes a world-class spa and salon, operated by talented professionals. Jeff and Pat Downward decided to take their years of experience in the cosmetology industry to open Daybreak's only full-service salon. It's nestled right on SoDa Row at the heart of the community's business district.
The 9 Salon and Spa is a full-service salon with some of the best hair stylists and aestheticians in the business. If you come here, you can get anything from refreshing facials to a brand new hair style to luxurious massage. What a perfect place to relax and just let the professionals take over.
I just had to ask the owners what the "9" in the company's name means. Jeff said, "It's a reminder to recognize our own internal qualities so we can extend them out to others; to care for your own soul and others and revise the outward to enhance the inner."
Jeff and Pat know this business well. They have been in the salon business for over 30 years and know that a full compliment salon is where their customers can get away from the daily grind and feel pampered. Their services are a great addition to the amenities Daybreak already offers.
For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
