ROME Italy welcomed home three allegedly looted artworks from the Getty museum in Los Angeles. The return of the ancient vase, a bronze Etruscan candelabrum and an ancient Greek funerary stone, came days before the resumption of the trial of a former Getty curator, Marion True, who is said to have conspired with dealers trafficking in looted antiquities. Italy wants a further 39 works returned.
