The 2010 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, presented by Zions Bank, is set to begin Tuesday, August 17th at 6 p.m. It will take professional cyclists from around the world through the toughest and most scenic race routes in the United States. In a Prologue and five stages held throughout central and northern Utah, cycling teams will compete for the leader jersey in the race dubbed "America's Toughest Stage Race."

Utah native and 2008 champion Jeff Louder says the race is gaining respect in the United States and around the globe.

"In America it's really well known and well respected." said Louder. "Internationally it's growing. This year we will see some big names and some guys who are showing interest in the race who haven't previously."

Tour of Utah President Steve Miller is also a big cycling fan and has gained a great deal of respect for these cylclists after watching them compete.

"To see what these guys do, how hard they train, how difficult it is to race at the speeds they race at and the intensity, it's just amazing to see what they do." Miller said. "They are true professionals."

The Tour of Utah draws talented and high-profile cyclists to Utah and further strengthens Utah's reputable cycling conditions and community. The Prologue and Stages will highlight the best of cycling in Utah and the international significance of the sport. Here is a breakdown:
