PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Some of the top quarterbacks in BYU history are coming back for the Cougars' season opener.
BYU's seven all-American quarterbacks are joining together to help raise money for the football program. Gifford Nielsen says the goal is to raise $1 million to endow scholarships.
Nielsen, Marc Wilson, Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Robbie Bosco, Ty Detmer and Steve Sarkisian are all scheduled to participate when the activities begin Sept. 3 -- the day before the Cougars open the season at home against Washington.
Sarkisian will have to work that Saturday. He's the Huskies' head coach.
