LOS ANGELES, Sep 30, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- An Iowa law student's legs have been deemed the best in the United States, at least in the female division.

Angela McNeany won Gillette's "Legs of a Goddess" competition, picked by a panel of celebrity judges that included Hilary and Haylie Duff.

"This has been a whirlwind of activity for me," McNeany told the Chicago Sun-Times. "One minute I'm studying tort reform and the next I'm told I have the best legs in America and am flown to Hollywood for Hilary Duff's party. Now I know how a celebrity feels. This is a dream come true.''

McNeany, a student at Drake University in Des Moines, grew up in Rockford, Ill. The panel of judges was looking for toned and well-shaped legs carrying a woman with confidence and personality.

In addition to the Duff sisters, the judges included Marcus Schenkenberg, star of "The Surreal Life," David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox and representatives from the agency Karin Models.
