Ever tried to live without your phone? I can't believe I dropped my cell phone into the tub on Tuesday night. I was multi-tasking while my little boys splashed around. One minute I'm checking tweets from different school districts at their board meetings; next minute, the Blackberry is under water. I know now, thanks to lots of advice from family, friends, boss and the Internet, that you should immediatley take out the battery and dry the whole thing off. They say to put it in uncooked rice or those silicone packing things to draw all the moisure out. I didn't do this because I didn't know about it. I just stared in shock at my soggy cell. I'm getting a replacement in the coming days. But in the meantime it's been hard to do my job. Thankfully I can check my voicemail from other phone lines. And even though when I first got the Blackberry I didn't like how all my email was right there, I got used to it. Now I may get used to NOT having it. Which may or may not be a bad thing if you think about it.
