(KSL News) -- Residents in a Cedar Hills are watching a mudslide. The mud started moving down a hillside yesterday. Governor Huntsman's Chief of Staff Jason Chaffetz says. "The rain is jut coming down so ferociously and this mountainside here is so steep. Hopefully the mountain will stay as intact as it can."

The mayor of Cedar Hills says the mud has come within 14 feet of some town homes. Residents in eight of those units were evacuated as a precaution.
