(KSL News) -- A food processor is being recalled after 17 injuries have been reported.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling a million and a half "Ultimate Chopper" food processors that allow users to put their hands near moving blades. Some of the processors have malfunctioning blades.
Owners can check their units for malfunction by removing the lid and blade assembly while the unit is off, then see if it turns on without the lid in place.
Consumers with malfunctioning units should contact "Ultimate Chopper L-L-C" for a free replacement.
