Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo has "no hard feelings" toward Amen Thompson after the Houston forward was ejected for pulling him down from behind by his head and neck Tuesday night. The Bucks were down by 2 with about 4 ½ minutes left when Thompson committed the foul as Antetokounmpo went up for a shot in the lane. The play was reviewed and determined to by a flagrant foul 2 and Thompson was ejected. Houston went on to a 100-97 victory that snapped Milwaukee's four-game winning streak.

Ja Morant had 29 points and eight assists and the Memphis Grizzlies closed overtime with a 7-0 run to beat the Phoenix Suns 151-148 on Tuesday night. Morant's final assist was a feed to Jaylen Wells for a dunk with 9.1 seconds left in overtime. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 28 points before fouling out in the fourth quarter. Desmond Bane had 25 points and nine assists as Memphis moved into a tie for second place in the Western Conference with idle Denver. The Suns had five players score at least 20 points for the first time since 1990. Devin Booker had 28, Kevin Durant 26, Bradley Beal 24, Bol Bol 23 and Grayson Allen 21.

The Pelicans overcame a 19-point hole in the first half despite shooting 7 of 31 from 3-point range for the game. Yves Missi had 10 points and 11 rebounds, and newly acquired Kelly Olynyk had 12 rebounds, after pulling down 15 rebounds in a 114-96 victory over the Spurs on Sunday night. Devin Vassell led San Antonio with 20 points, and De'Aaron Fox had 15 points and nine assists.

Max Strus, Evan Mobley and De'Andre Hunter each scored 17 points. Strus made five 3-pointers, helping the Cavaliers go 19 for 32 from beyond the arc. Cleveland shot 56.3% overall while improving to an NBA-best 48-10. Paolo Banchero led Orlando with 26 points. Franz Wagner added 19 points for the Magic, who shot 5 for 28 on 3-pointers.

Payton Pritchard scored 20 points and Jayson Tatum had 19 points and 11 assists as the Celtics improved to 24-6 on the road. RJ Barrett scored 22 points and Scottie Barnes had 21 but the Raptors lost for the seventh time in their past nine. Gradey Dick scored 12 points and Immanuel Quickley added 10.

Flagg, the likely No. 1 pick in the NBA draft, added six assists and five rebounds for the Blue Devils (25-3, 16-1 Atlantic Coast Conference). Duke led by 15 at the half, and Knueppel scored eight points in a 16-2 burst by the Blue Devils early in the second half to push the lead to 65-36. That's when Hammon can get back in the team facility and begin working with Jewell Loyd, Liz Kitley and the other Aces as they try to return Las Vegas to championship form. Last season was a disappointment by the Aces' lofty standards. The team that won WNBA championships in 2022 and 2023 seldom looked like their usual selves. They entered the playoffs as the fourth seed and lost in four games to the eventual champion New York Liberty in the semifinals.

Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton has been suspended for one game without pay after picking up a sixth flagrant-foul point this season. He will serve his suspension during Wednesday night's home game against Oklahoma City. Claxton was called for a flagrant 1 foul with 9:24 left during Monday night's 107-99 loss at Washington. He entered with five flagrant-foul points, so the decision triggered the automatic suspension based on the NBA's regular-season protocols. The 25-year-old Claxton is averaging 10.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in his sixth season.

It's a blow to Miami's hopes of securing a guaranteed playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Jovic broke the second metacarpal in his hand during Sunday's game at Milwaukee and was diagnosed with the fracture at halftime. He didn't play on Monday at Atlanta and was evaluated by team doctors on Tuesday. That's what determined the four-week timetable.

The NBA is on the cusp of accomplishing something that it hasn't seen before. The jury's still out on whether it's a good thing. With about seven weeks left in the season, 2-point shots are accounting for 49% of scoring. And if that stat holds up this will be the first season in which 2-pointers make up less than half of the league's point production. The current breakdown: a record-low 49% of scoring comes from 2-pointers, a record-high 36% comes from 3-pointers, and a near-record-low 15% comes from the foul line.

JJust when it appeared the Oklahoma City Thunder were going to run away from Minnesota like they've run away from the pack in the Western Conference standings, the Timberwolves made a stand. Minnesota rallied from a 25-point deficit in the second half to win 131-128 in Oklahoma City on Monday night. Now a Timberwolves team that reached the Western Conference Finals last season but has struggled at times this season has regained its confidence. The season series ended up tied at 2-all, and this win has the Timberwolves thinking they could have the same success in the postseason.

The 76ers are a team in trouble. They trailed by 50 points in the fourth quarter in a loss to the Chicago Bulls. The 76ers have lost eight straight games and 10 of 11 overall and are outside of even a play-in tournament berth. Joel Embiid remains sidelined with an injured left knee. Embiid has played in just 19 of 57 games for the Sixers, who fell to 20-37 an have only a faint shot at earning a berth in the NBA play-in tournament. Embiid has averaged 23.8 points and scored only 29 points combined in his last two games.
