Air Force (4-7, 2-4 Mountain West) has won three games in a row following a seven-game skid. Quarterback Quentin Hayes added 68 yards rushing, including a 1-yard touchdown that made it 22-12 with 1:11 to play. The Wolf Pack has lost five games in a row and six of its last seven. Cortez Braham Jr. caught a 27-yard touchdown pass that capped the scoring with 4 seconds left and finished with seven receptions for 123 yards. Brendon Lewis finished 22-of-35 passing for 268 yards with an interception and added 53 yards rushing.

Jakolby Longino threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Kyndon Fuselier to cap a 13-play, 77-yard drive as time expired and Lamar blew a 17-point lead before the Cardinals beat McNeese 26-24 in the regular season finale for both teams. An offensive pass interference penalty negated a 5-yard touchdown reception by RJ Carver with a second left and backed the Cardinals up to the McNeese 20 before Longino hit Fuselier in the front of the end zone. Longino replaced starter Robert Coleman, who was ejected in the fourth quarter for throwing a punch, and was 4-of-11 passing for 57 yards. Coleman completed 8 of 15 for 100 yards passing, including a 41-yard touchdown to Sevonne Rhea that made it 17-0 with 6:10 left in the second quarter.

With the teams both getting one play to score from the 3, Texas A&M turned to trickery on its attempt. Receiver Terry Bussey took the direct snap and handed off to quarterback Marcel Reed. Reed's pass to Amari Daniels was dropped in the end zone. Auburn fans stormed the field. Other SEC playoff contenders Mississippi and Alabama had already fallen to unranked league foes.

Cincinnati (5-6, 3-5 Big 12) lost its fourth straight game. The Bearcats need a home win against TCU next Saturday to achieve bowl eligibility. Avery Johnson was 13-of-23 for 147 yards and two touchdowns for KSU. Brendan Sorsby was 21-of-39 for 200 yards and two touchdowns for the Bearcats.

Jackson Arnold ran for 131 yards on 25 carries and completed 9 of 11 passes for the Sooners, who got coach Brent Venables off the hot seat on Senior Night. Kanon Catchings added 14 points for BYU (5-0), which shot 31 of 58 (53%) from the field and 11 of 32 (34%) from long range. Trevin Knell scored 12 points and Dallin Hall and Dawson Baker each had 10. Hall made three 3-pointers while five other Cougars made at least one. Donovan Sanders scored 14 points to lead Mississippi Valley State (1-5).

Josh Williams had a pair of rushing touchdowns and Garrett Nussemeier threw for 332 yards as LSU defeated Vanderbilt 24-17. The Tigers (7-4, 4-3 SEC) snapped a three-game losing streak, their longest since the 2021 season. Leading 14-10 at the end of the first half, LSU saw its lead shrink to 14-10 after a 47-yard field goal by Brock Taylor on the Commodores first possession of the third quarter. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia made it a 24-17 game late in the game on a 1-yard touchdown run, but LSU was able to keep the ball for the final 5:47 of the game, sealing the victory. Pavia finished with 43 yards rushing on six carries and was 13-of-24 passing for 186 yards.

Iowa State kept its hopes of reaching the Big 12 title game alive with a second straight win. Isaac Wilson led Utah with 74 yards on 8-of-8 passing before exiting with an injury late in the third quarter. Ben Gulbranson, who missed last week's loss at Air Force, threw for 294 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Beavers (5-6). Trent Walker Jr. caught 12 passes for 136 yards. It was the second straight loss for the Cougars (8-3), who were coming off a 38-35 loss last weekend to New Mexico that dashed the Cougars' hopes of possibly earning an at-large bid to the 12-team College Football Playoff.

Layne threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Emmerson Cortez-Menjivar on a trick play that opened the scoring about 6 minutes into the game and his 15-yard TD pass to Mark Hamper with 37 seconds left in the second quarter gave Idaho (9-3, 6-2 Big Sky Conference) a 10-point halftime lead. Andrew Marshall returned the opening kickoff of the second half 100 yards for a touchdown. Kobe Tracy was 27-of-44 passing for 249 yards with three interceptions for Idaho State (5-7, 3-5) and ran for a 3-yard TD in the fourth quarter that made it 30-17.

Robertson, who finished 15 of 23 and threw three interceptions, had touchdown passes of 5 yards to Michael Trigg and 23 yards to Ashtyn Hawkins in the first half as Baylor built a 17-7 halftime lead. Hawkins caught six passes for 65 yards, and Trigg had four catches for 96 yards for Baylor (7-4, 5-3 Big 12). Zeon Chriss had 126 yards passing and threw three interceptions for Houston (4-7, 3-5).

Muasau got the Bears on the board with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Myles Miree to make it 7-7 after one quarter. In a 28-point second quarter, Collins ripped off a 59-yard touchdown run and Muasau had a 7-yard TD pass to Marque Phillip for a 21-7 lead. Muasau's 1-yard touchdown run made it 28-7 and a short TD run by Collins made it 35-7.

JC French threw for a touchdown, Jalen White ran for one and Georgia Southern defeated Coastal Carolina 26-6. Gavin Stewart kicked four field goals for the Eagles. Their defense allowed two field goals and just 12 first downs. French's 30-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Sanders Jr. gave Georgia Southern a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and they led 13-3 at halftime. Stewart's third field goal made it 16-6 in the fourth quarter, White added a 2-yard touchdown run and Stewart capped the win with a 39-yard boot.

Munoz threw for 191 yards and Adrian Cormier had 138 yards rushing for the Wildcats.

North Carolina (4-1) scored the last nine points of the first quarter for a 19-10 advantage and led the rest of the way. Madelyn Bischoff's 3-pointer pulled Ball State to 39-34 with 7:31 left in the third, but the Cardinals didn't get closer. Ustby scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and her board with 6:58 left was the 1,000th of her career. Bischoff made five 3s and scored 19 points to lead Ball State (4-1).

BYU coach Kalani Sitake took the high road despite having to wait roughly 15 minutes to run a final Hail Mary play following Arizona State's student section prematurely storming the field in the Cougars' loss. No. 21 Arizona State beat No. 14 BYU 28-23 in a game that had its final few seconds turn into a mess. Arizona State's fans rushed the field after what they thought was the final play, but there was still 1 second remaining. It took roughly 15 minutes to clear the field before BYU ran a final Hail Mary play that fell incomplete.

The Eagles wrapped up the regular season with five straight wins and earned a four-way share of the conference title with Southeast Missouri State, UT Martin and Tennessee State. Jay Pearson accounted for the Panthers' lone score with a 2-yard touchdown run at the end of a 10-play, 75-yard drive that lasted nearly five-and-a-half minutes. The two-point conversion failed.

South Florida (6-5, 4-3 American Athletic Conference) is bowl eligible for the second straight season, after missing the postseason in the previous four years. The strangest play of the game happened with USF leading 49-7. Tulsa quarterback Kirk Francis threw a deep pass to Joseph Williams along the right sideline. He appeared headed for Tulsa's second touchdown, but defensive back Ben Knox hustled to poke the ball away at the goal line and recovered it at the 2-yard line.

Lopez threw two touchdown passes in the second quarter as the Jaguars rallied from an 8-0 deficit to lead 14-11 at halftime. In the third quarter, Lopez hit Jamaal Pritchett on a 40-yard touchdown pass and Wesley Miller returned an interception 57 yards for a touchdown that made it 28-11. Bothwell's 2-yard run midway through the fourth quarter wrapped up the scoring. Lopez was 15-for-24 passing for 193 yards. Pritchett caught eight passes for 102 yards.

Sergio Morancy returned a punt for a score and caught three touchdown passes while Tye Edwards ran for 229 yards to lead Northern Iowa past Indiana State 41-34 in Mark Farley's final game as coach of the Panthers. Farley, 61, announced Nov. 10 that he would step down at the end of his 24th season. He retires as the winningest football coach in both Northern Iowa and Missouri Valley Conference history with 183 victories. He guided the Panthers to seven conference titles, earned two conference Coach of the Year awards and was named the 2007 FCS National Coach of the Year.

Tarleton awaits the FCS selection show on Sunday for an at-large bid. Central Arkansas (6-6, 3-5) has lost four straight for its longest single-season skid since the 2009 season.

The Tigers had SEC highs in points and total yards (473) in the win. The Tigers (8-3, 4-3 SEC) held the ball for 37:23 while the Bulldogs had it for just 18:09. Mizzou was 11-of-17 on 3rd down and averaged 6.4 yards per play. Cook was 15-of-20 passing for 268 yards and one touchdown and had seven catches from Luther Burden for 91 yards. Nate Noel led a running back group that had 205 yards on 56 carries and Noel had 25 carries for 95 yards. Marcus Carroll finished with 14 carries for 61 yards and three scores.

Umanmielen, who spent three years at Florida before transferring to Ole Miss, left the stadium with a number of officers surrounding him. And the defensive end still tried to get at heckling fans. It started when Umanmielen left the sideline in the waning seconds of a 24-17 loss to the Gators. He was walking toward the visiting locker room when at least one fan yelled at him from a ramp that leads into the stadium. Umanmielen clearly didn't like what he heard and started jogging up the ramp. Officers followed and escorted Umanmielen toward the team's waiting busses. Fans shouted at him again. Umanmielen turned and started to dart toward them before officers stepped in and stopped him again.

Pittsburgh quarterback Eli Holstein was carted off the field with a left leg injury sustained while being sacked in the first quarter at Louisville but returned to the sideline by halftime of the Panthers' 37-9 loss on Saturday. Coach Pat Narduzzi said Holstein was 'banged up' without elaborating. The redshirt freshman's left ankle was caught at an awkward angle beneath Louisville defensive end Ashton Gillotte's hip on the twisting tackle for a 4-yard loss at midfield. Panthers medical personnel rushed to Holstein's aid with a cart arriving quickly on the field within minutes. Holstein's leg was placed in a boot before he was helped up and onto the cart. The Crusaders (6-6, 5-1) earned a share of their sixth straight Patriot League title but Lehigh will get the league's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs, having beaten Holy Cross 10-7 this season. Holy Cross took a 17-0 lead on a Daniel Porto field goal, Joe Townsend's 15-yard return of a punt block made by Lathan Croley and Clerveaux's 18-yard run. Clerveaux's 3-yard score made it 27-0 in the third quarter.

Kyle McCord threw for a season-high 470 yards with two touchdowns to lead Syracuse to a 31-24 win over UConn. The win improves the Orange to 8-3 for their first eight-win regular season since 2018, and third since 2000. McCord completed 37-of-47 passes for his first 400-yard game this season. He opened the game with a 77-yard touchdown drive, spanning two plays in 50 seconds. The touchdown came on a 22-yard pass to Oronde Gadsden. McCord broke Syracuse's all-time record for single-season passing yards with 4:12 remaining in the first half. UConn will end its season without a Power Four win after staying within 10 points of the Orange for all 60 minutes.

Southern California starting guard Kennedy Smith will be sidelined indefinitely after having a surgical procedure. Her status was announced shortly before the third-ranked Trojans hosted No. 6 Notre Dame on Saturday. USC says Smith is expected to return to competition this season. The freshman from nearby Chino was averaging 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in four games. Smith last played on Nov. 15 against Santa Clara, with nine points and five steals in the victory. Freshman Kayleigh Heckel was making her first start of the season in Smith's place.

Southern Miss made 8 of 13 shots in the first quarter and trailed just 25-18 despite being outrebounded 15-3. Columbia received help from Yale which beat Harvard 34-23. Dartmouth also forged its way to the top of the Ivy League standings when it drubbed Brown 56-28.

All Ohio State has to do now is beat Michigan at home next Saturday and it will earn a return to the Big Ten championship game for the first time since 2020 and get a rematch with No. 1 Oregon. The Ducks beat Ohio State 32-31 in a wild one back on Oct. 12.

Irby's touchdown, a 1-yard plunge, came after the Keydets had a punting problem that gave the Buccaneers the ball on the 17-yard line. Otherwise, both teams finished drives with field goals. Johnson's kicks came from 22, 20 and 40 yards, the last making it 16-3 early in the second half for the Bucs. Caden Beck had a 39-yard field goal on the game's opening drive and then hit a pair from 48 yards.

Ryan Turner added a 78-yard interception return for BC, which became bowl eligible under first-year coach Bill O'Brien. It's the second straight and eighth in the last nine years the Eagles have a bowl opportunity. Flutie and many of his 1984 teammates were honored on the field before the second quarter. Richmond won the 135th edition of the "Oldest Rivalry in the South" by compiling 238 rushing yards and holding the Tribe to 164 total yards. The Gamecocks (8-3, 7-0) won their eighth straight game. They finish their regular-season schedule at Western Kentucky next Saturday while the Bearkats (8-3, 5-2) will be hosts to Liberty on Friday. Huff ran for 177 yards on 30 carries and threw for 54 yards. Tre Stewart rushed for 99 yards on 27 carries. Hunter Watson rushed for 102 yards with a touchdown on 21 carries and threw for 84 more for the Bearkats.

Mississippi star receiver Tre Harris, returning after missing the last six weeks with a lower-body injury, left the Rebels' game at Florida with an apparent groin injury. Harris was hurt in the second quarter while trying to make a leaping catch near the Ole Miss sideline. His leg appeared to get stretched awkwardly during the play. He dropped the ball as he fell to the ground and was helped to the locker room. The ninth-ranked Rebels also lost safety Yam Banks in the first half. Banks injured his left knee trying to defend DJ Lagway's 8-yard touchdown pass to Elijhah Badger and was carted off the field.

With Boston College trailing defending champion Miami, Flutie threw the Hail Mary and found receiver Gerard Phalen, who made the grab while falling into the end zone behind a pair of defenders for a game-winning 48-yard TD. Flutie and many of his 1984 teammates were honored on the field during BC's game against North Carolina before the second quarter on Saturday afternoon, the anniversary of the Eagles' Miracle in Miami.

Joplin scored five straight Marquette points to begin a 12-3 run that Stevie Mitchell capped by banking in a shot with 1:33 remaining for a 78-66 lead. Mitchell made a steal at the other end to help seal it. Ben Gold scored a career-high 14 points and Kam Jones had 10 points and seven assists for Marquette. The Heisman Trophy contender already holds the Hurricanes' single-season record for touchdown passes and is on pace to break the school mark for completion percentage. His 13-yard completion to Damien Martinez with 1:27 left in the second quarter gave him 3,643 yards for the season. Kosar's marks of 3,642 yards and 262 completions stood for 40 years. Ward now has 3,774 yards on 268 completions this season.
