SALT LAKE CITY — Last year, Matt Barnes, a former member of the Golden State Warriors, commented on Utah’s nightlife, calling it nonexistent during the second round of the 2017 playoffs.

Warriors' Steph Curry brought back these comments Tuesday on Instagram in a post of the team experiencing Utah’s nightlife. Before the team squared off against the Jazz Tuesday night the Warriors ventured out to an escape room, The Escape Key, in Salt Lake City. Curry captioned the photo “nightlife.”

The nightlife in Salt Lake City proved to be too much for the Warriors to handle when the Jazz stunned them with a 129-99 win. The Jazz handed the Warriors their worst loss of the season.

The Jazz shot a season-high 58.2 percent from the field, which is the highest the Warriors have allowed under head coach Steve Kerr. After the 30-point loss, Kerr commented on the game, calling it a pathetic effort and disgusting basketball from the team.

Curry went 1-of-7 from 3-point range and finished the night with only 14 points.

Jazz players took note of Curry’s actions and were quick to respond back to his post. After the 30-point victory, Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Royce O’Neale took to social media to poke fun at the Warriors' comments. All three posted pictures of the victory on social media sites captioning the posts #nightlife.

In the end, the Jazz got the last laugh: Not only did they blow out the defending champs, they got to poke fun at the leagues MVP Steph Curry.
