NEAR AND FAR — You know the drill with these Great Clips of the Week by now.
We scour both traditional media and the internet for our favorite video clips of the week, and highlight them every Monday on KSL.com.
This week, we didn’t have to go too far — or at least, not as far as a local high school marching band.
As always, click the video above for the complete video.
Davis High marching band does famous turkey trot
How was your Thanksgiving? Good?
Probably not as good as students with the Davis High School marching band.
The Darts were invited to march in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York City Thursday, and they represented the state of Utah well during the 91st edition of the event on national NBC television.

Steve Young chomps fish head on national TV
The cast of Monday Night Football, including former BYU quarterback Steve Young, spent some time with the cast of “The Deadliest Catch” during last Monday’s filming.
And Young, whose popularity as a broadcaster has soared since retiring from the NFL in 1999, decided to do something a little bit crazy.
He ate a live fish head on national television.

Mike Leach drops banana for annual rivalry game
You’ve probably seen video of Washington State coach Mike Leach all over your social media feeds, whether it’s talk about aliens, giving his thoughts on the current College Football Playoff, or giving advice to a local television reporter on the eve of her wedding day.
But even when the former BYU rugby player isn’t trying to be funny, he is.
Case in point: during pregame of Saturday’s Apple Cup rivalry game against Washington, Leach was filmed talking with Huskies coach Chris Peterson while eating a banana. He almost didn’t do both, but a last-second save dropped the banana in his mouth, and the two carry on in casual conversation before Leach’s No. 21 Wazzu team lost to the No. 13 Huskies, 41-14.
