PROVO — With just 10 days to go until the football home opener against Portland State, BYU Athletics held its annual fan fest Tuesday evening at Haws Field.
Players and coaches from the football, women's volleyball, women's soccer and other squads were on hand to sign autographs, snap photos, and play with the thousand or so individuals and families who made the trek to campus in anticipation of the upcoming season.
The Cougars open the football season Aug. 26 against FCS foe Portland State. The No. 8-ranked women's soccer begins play Friday at Penn State, followed by the home opener at 5:30 p.m. MDT Monday against Ohio State. The women's volleyball squad hosts the season-opening BYU Invitational against Ohio State, Texas-Rio Grande Valley and St. Louis on Friday, Aug. 25 in the Smith Fieldhouse.
