HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Dartmouth College plans to host a summit next month on the rebuilding of Nepal after an earthquake last year.
The Valley News reports (http://bit.ly/1K6N05I ) the summit will take place from Feb. 18 to Feb. 20 at the Hanover college's Dickey Center for International Understanding.
Doctors, photographers, scholars and others will share their experiences in Nepal and plan their response to the April earthquake that displaced and killed thousands.
Dartmouth associate professor Sienna Craig, who's helping organize the conference, says the summit comes as officials announced reconstruction for the tiny South Asian country.
Nepalis from all over the country are planning to attend. A former Nepalese government official will conduct a town hall that will steam live on the final day of the summit.
