In 1990, Moab was hit with 80-mph winds. In 1992, thunderstorms produced hail 3 to 4 inches deep near Scofield Reservoir. The snow plows were called out. In 1998, a tornado in West Valley City damaged some trailers. In 2003, hail was reported at Dugway and Manti. Also, a cloudburst flooded Ogden with 1 inch of rain in 90 minutes.
