ROME (AP) — The Italian news agency ANSA says police have discovered the body of a 60-year-old woman, who apparently died in early 2017, in a home in northern Italy.
ANSA said Saturday that initial examination of the body indicated she had died of natural causes in the home in Verona. It said the mailbox was overflowing with mail, including utility bills issued in December 2016, leading investigators to believe her death likely occurred in early 2017.
It was not immediately clear what led police to the home or if she had any relatives.
