EARLE, Ark. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man in the killing of two adults and a child whose bodies were found in a burning home in eastern Arkansas.
The Crittenden County Sheriff's Office says Ezekiel Lindsey was arrested Sunday on suspicion of three counts of capital murder in connection with the April 15 fire in Earle. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette , authorities accuse Lindsey of shooting two adults inside the home before setting it on fire.
Authorities say 42-year-old Kendrick Jones and 25-year-old Chasity Brown were killed, along with Brown's 5-year-old son. An autopsy found that both adults were shot but that Brown and her son died of smoke inhalation.
Investigators say Lindsey once dated and lived with Brown.
Court records don't list an attorney who can speak on Lindsey's behalf.
