OGDEN, Utah (AP) — The business manager for the Davis County Sheriff's Office has been put on administrative leave while an audit is conducted of the agency.
The Standard-Examiner reports that Keith Major was put on leave on Thursday, but said officials didn't provide details on subject of the audit.
The Davis County Sheriff's Office has been the focus of at least half a dozen audits over the last several years involving what officials have described as questionable uses of public funds.
Sheriff Todd Richardson was investigated for alleged time card fraud last year, but the Utah Attorney General's Office determined no criminal violations occurred.
