CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Cedar City police say a man is dead and a suspect is still at large.

Sgt. Jerry Womack tells KSL-TV of Salt Lake City (http://bit.ly/29XKONl ) that officers responded Sunday after shots were fired around 6:30 a.m.

A 34-year-old man was found dead at the scene.

According to Womack, the suspect is 27-year-old Mark Mair.

He says Mair had a .40-caliber handgun at the time of the shooting.

Mair is believed to have a second handgun and is considered armed and dangerous.

Witnesses say Mair fled the scene in a tan four-door sedan driven by a woman with blonde hair.

Mair is described as 5-foot-7 with a stocky build and brown, short-cropped hair.

He also has a tattoo of the Playboy bunny logo on his neck.
