LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a 23-year-old North Las Vegas man surrendered when confronted with videotape evidence, and gave detectives a map of northwest Las Vegas homes from which he's accused of stealing more than $2.8 million in loot.
A 28-count grand jury indictment filed Wednesday charges Brandon Birdsong with conspiracy, burglary, grand larceny, home invasion and burglary with a firearm.
Records show that Birdsong is being held on $250,000 bail at the Clark County jail pending an appearance next Thursday in Clark County District Court.
A police report says Birdsong admitted committing 17 separate burglaries over nine months from homes of prominent Las Vegas residents.
KLAS-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1AjGKvG ) that alleged victims include MGM Resorts International, Ultimate Fighting Championship and Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority executives, and a former Primmadonna Resorts shareholder.
