OREM — A vehicle left running with a child inside was stolen on Tuesday night and was later found with the child unharmed, police say.

The incident began near 800 South and 400 West and ended near the FrontRunner station at 1350 W. 900 South in Orem.

Orem police said the car and child were found shortly after police responded to the incident.

Police didn’t have any suspect information to release Tuesday night.

The incident caused delays to the FrontRunner in the area but trains later returned to their regular schedules.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious near the area around 7 p.m. is asked to call Orem police at 801-229-7070.
