GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — Three siblings who had been reported missing from Great Falls have been located in Idaho, and Montana’s Department of Justice has canceled an Amber Alert issued for them. The agency says two girls, ages 5 and 3, and a 1-year-old boy were believed to be in danger because their parents have a history of drug use and violence. The children were found safe Thursday, and their parents are in custody.

BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) — Two groups have filed a lawsuit in federal court to block a proposed power transmission line that would run through two counties in Oregon’s northeast corner. The Stop B2H Coalition and Greater Hells Canyon Council, both based in La Grande, filed the suit this week in U.S. District Court in Pendleton. The plaintiffs contend the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service failed to adequately review the potential environmental impacts of the Idaho Power Company project.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A former employee of a major Boise hospital has agreed to pay nearly $1.5 million in restitution for wire fraud. Boise television station KBOI reports 60-year-old Lois Soito worked for Saint Alphonsus Hospital Systems for 22 years before she was indicted by a federal grand jury in August. She pleaded guilty to wire fraud after prosecutors said she took money from the annual Festival of Trees fundraisers for herself.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise teen who prosecutors say fatally hit a 7-year-old bicyclist while driving a pickup truck has been charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. Conner Brant, 18, was booked into the Ada County Jail on Wednesday in connection with the fatal July collision. Deputies say young Eduard Prokopchuk was riding his bike with two other children near Boise when he was hit by the pickup, and he died of his injuries the following day.
