TERRETON, Idaho (AP) — A 72-year-old eastern Idaho man died after his pickup collided with farm machinery near Terreton.

Idaho State Police say Denis Clark of Preston died Friday when his 2007 Dodge pickup pulling an empty horse trailer collided with a farm tractor pulling a trailer loaded with hay.

Police say Clark collided with the farm equipment while making a left turn into a nearby hay field. Clark died at the scene.

Clark's passenger, 26-year-old Bracken Atkinson of Preston, was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

A hospital spokesman said Atkinson was listed in fair condition on Saturday.
