PROVO — A 20-year-old Vineyard man who died after crashing his motorcycle in Provo Canyon has been identified.
Tristan Tran was traveling east on U.S. 189 (Provo Canyon) near Vivian Park just before 7:30 p.m, when he crashed into the center median barrier, was then thrown from his bike and landed in the westbound lanes, according to Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Luis Silva.
"The rider was traveling too fast and unable to maintain control of his bike," Silva said.
