The Utah Cutthroat Slam is celebrating its 10‑year anniversary, highlighting a decade of conservation efforts funded by anglers across the state.
The slam challenges fishermen to catch all four native Utah cutthroat trout species, including: Bonneville, Colorado River, Bear River, and Yellowstone cutthroat trout, all while raising money for vital habitat and restoration projects.
In this episode, Brett Prettyman with the Utah Cutthroat Slam joins us in Millcreek Canyon to explain how the program has helped protect native trout through angler participation. We also follow Adam Eakle as he attempts to catch a Bonneville Cutthroat Trout, working to complete his second Cutthroat Slam.
