WITH THE CISCO DISCO BEHIND US, WE HEAD OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE FOR SOME MORE FRIGID, FROSTY FUN. ALMOST EVERYBODY FROM THE MORNING FISHING BASH HAS VENTURED OVER TO PARTICIPATE OR AT LEAST WITNESS THE 3RD ANNUAL BEAR LAKE MONSTER POLAR PLUNGE AT THE STATE PARK MARINA TO BENEFIT PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER.
AND AS LONG AS YOU'RE PARTICIPATING IN THE PLUNGE, WHY NOT GET DRESSED UP (OR DOWN) FOR THE CHARITABLE EVENT?
DESPITE ALL THE FUN, ORGANIZERS OF THE EVENT ARE SERIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO SAFETY.
BEING THAT I'M A FIRST TIME PLUNGER, I FEEL I NEED TO ASK AROUND FOR SOME HELPFUL HINTS.
THIS YEAR, ABOUT 50 PEOPLE JOINED IN ON THE PLUNGE...AND THE EVENT RAISED OVER EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS.
