The small lake trout over-population at Flaming Gorge has reached a breaking point. Now, starting October 1st in Wyoming, and January 1st in Utah, anglers can harvest unlimited amounts of laker pups that are 28" or less. Not only that, but pups can be disposed of either into the lake or at home. In this episode of KSL Outdoors, we talk about the new rules, show you how to fins schools of small lake trout, and what lures and techniques work best to catch them so you can help reduce the laker population and save the kokanee fishery at Flaming Gorge.
