Volunteers make delegates feel welcome

A group of volunteers is finding a unique way to fill their job assignment: helping make delegates to the Democratic National Convention feel welcome.

Like the cheering section at the end of a marathon, volunteers dressed in orange shirts applauded delegates and whoever else made it through the last security point near the Pepsi Center.

Karen Cahoon is from Salt Lake City. She said, "I would call it an enthusiastic group here, a great group so. It's good synergy."

Cahoon's big payoff is she'll be able to be in Invesco field Thursday night.
