1. Cleanup, investigation underway after fire damages several homes in St. George

Fire crews in St. George spent Saturday monitoring hot spots of a large blaze that consumed several homes. Meanwhile, investigators started the process to determine how and where the fire started.

2. Authorities recover climber's body from Mount Olympus

Authorities recovered the body of 54-year-old James Roache around 5 p.m. on Saturday. Roache was preparing to rock climb in Mount Olympus with a friend when he slipped and fell around 100 feet.

3. Utah man allegedly shoots and kills wife for leaving him, arrest documents say

A Utah man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his wife after she told him her intentions to leave the marriage, according to a probable cause statement filed in Washington County's 5th District Court.

4. 2 people found dead in South Salt Lake home, police say

Police are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead in a South Salt Lake home Friday night. South Salt Lake officers responded to a welfare check at a home located at 2889 S. Eugene Lane just after 11 p.m. on Friday after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots, according to a press release from the South Salt Lake Police Department.

5. Judge declares Lori Vallow Daybell indigent

A district judge has declared Lori Vallow Daybell as indigent. The single-sentence order came down from District Judge Steven Boyce on Friday, EastIdahoNews.com reported.

1. Grizzlies shock Jazz to steal Game 1 of playoffs

Dillon Brooks had 31 points in a villain-making performance to lead Memphis, and Ja Morant added 26 points, including some back-breaking shots down the stretch as the Jazz frantically tried to make a comeback.

Bogdanovic had 29 points, including 20 in the fourth quarter, to try to lead the Jazz back in to the game after being down by double digits. Mike Conley had 22 points and 11 assists, but was hampered with foul trouble, causing him to sit for a long stretch in the third quarter. And Conley wasn't the only one dealing with foul issues.

2. Rubio Rubin's fast start, Damir Kreilach's heroics continue in Real Salt Lake's road draw with Dallas

Rubin scored another golazo for the visitors, Kreilach added a goal late, and Real Salt Lake earned a road draw with FC Dallas, 2-2, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

3. As Mickelson surges to history at PGA Championship, Tony Finau rallies to another top-10 finish

Finau shot 1-under-par 71 Sunday to finish with a four-day total of 1-under 287 at long and windy Kiawah Island in South Carolina, where he finished tied for eighth with nine other golfers and five shots back of Mickelson.

4. Taylor Swift and twin homers: Bear River takes two to top Tooele for 4A softball title

Maxfield belted a home run in each of the two remaining games Saturday, and older sister Oaklie went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored over two games to help Bear River clinch its 10th state title and third since 2016 with a 14-6 win Saturday afternoon over reigning champion Tooele at the Spanish Fork Complex.

5. 4A baseball: Snow Canyon finishes strong for first title since 2013

Landon Frei went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI to lead the Warriors to their first Class 4A state baseball championship since back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 Saturday afternoon at Cate Field on the campus of Salt Lake Community College.
