Woman's body recovered from river in S. Idaho

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities have recovered a woman's body found floating in the Snake River near Centennial Waterfront Park in south-central Idaho.

Police say a kayaker spotted the body at about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday and it was recovered at about 3:45 p.m.

Authorities have not identified the woman who was estimated to be about 30 years old, about 5-foot-5, 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

An autopsy is planned.
