SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The winter farmers market in Salt Lake City will open Saturday.
More than 60 vendors will offer produce, meat, baked goods and other local products every other Saturday at the indoor market at the Rio Grande Depot in Salt Lake City.
Shoppers will have more produce to pick from this year after the Downtown Farmers Market organization gave growers several thousand dollars in small grants.
The nonprofit Downtown Alliance says arts and crafts items will also be offered for sale during the month of December.
The winter farmers market will be open through April.
