GRANGEVILLE, Idaho (AP) — Officials in northern Idaho are searching for a 64-year-old Montana man who went missing during a weekend camping trip near Grangeville.

Burke Despain of Kalispell was reported missing from a campsite in the area of Highway 14, east of Grangeville. Jason Burke told Idaho County authorities he woke up Saturday morning and was unable to find his father.

Officials say a search dog indicated that Despain may have slipped and fallen into the South Fork of the Clearwater River.
