WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — How you eat and how you take care of yourself will be the focus of a weeklong series of events at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
The StarNews of Wilmington reports (http://bit.ly/1gXoHHc) the school is hosting a full week of events, kicking off with "State of the Region's Health" on Monday. It's sponsored by the college of health and human services, and includes an art exhibit, fitness activities, a youth summit and health and social work presentations.
A youth summit will give seventh- and eighth-graders an opportunity to learn more about body image, stress management, physical activity and skin health. Then the students will be treated to a healthy cooking demonstration and a healthy lunch.
There's a yoga demonstration on Tuesday with a fitness walk set for Wednesday.
