COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (AP) — Police in Cottonwood Heights are searching for a suspect who stole an entire ATM from a convenience store by towing it out.
Authorities released surveillance images Sunday from the theft at a Holiday Oil gas station.
According to police, the suspect put a tow strap over the ATM.
The strap was connected to a box van that the suspect then drove, pulling the ATM and punching out a front door.
Police recovered the box van in West Jordan.
The ATM was also found dismantled.
The suspect in the video is wearing a camouflage baseball cap with his nose and mouth covered.
The surveillance shows the suspect wearing a thick blue jacket, jeans and yellow gloves.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
