SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities believe a Sarasota man's death was caused by repeated stings from yellow jacket wasps.
The Bradenton Herald (http://bit.ly/1tpTduu ) reported Saturday that Christopher Nelson, 47, had wasps crawling on his body when Sarasota sheriff's deputies and paramedics found him Friday. Nelson was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
The sheriff's office Criminal Investigations Section and the county Medical Examiner's Office currently are investigating the death.
