SLIDELL, La. (AP) — A former Slidell High School teacher, who also coached girls' basketball, has been arrested by Slidell police for allegedly have sexual relations with some of his students.
Slidell Police Chief Randy Smith said in a news release detectives received a complaint from the St. Tammany Parish school system on March 9 about a teacher allegedly having in appropriate contact with a female student.
Smith says 34-year-old Raymond Winzy faces two counts of molestations of a juvenile by an educator, nine counts of production of child pornography, and three counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Smith says during the execution of a search warrant at Winzy's home they discovered nude photographs and video of students, all underage.
Winzy will be transferred to the parish jail Friday.
