BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) — Police in northern Utah are investigating what caused a fire that razed a historic Brigham City building already damaged by previous fires.
The Standard Examiner newspaper in Ogden reported Wednesday (http://bit.ly/1hpk6ks) that the most recent blaze at the Baron Woolen Mills building started July 20.
It came a year after another fire that police say was started by a 17-year-old playing with matches, marking the fourth fire and the second arson there since 2008.
Brigham City Police Lt. Dennis Vincent says the latest fire was suspicious, but declined to elaborate.
The structure was built in 1870 by a group of Mormon settlers. It's located in a residential area, across from a junior high school and near other historic mills also affected by arson.
