LEHI, Utah (AP) — A paraglider has crashed into a mountainside south of Salt Lake City and plummeted about 50 feet.
The Provo Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1Jh26nq ) that rescue crews were called to the area around Flight Park east of the Point of the Mountain after a man crashed around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Rescuers on the scene say the man was injured but they did not provide more details. An air ambulance was called to a staging area on the hills below the mountain face.
The man's identity has not been released.
