OGDEN, Utah (AP) — A tribute to fallen soldiers memorial motorcycle ride will be passing through Northern Utah Monday.
The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports (http://bit.ly/1OJQBos ) that the Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Ride will leave Brigham City midday before stopping in Ogden then moving to Layton and Salt Lake City.
Veterans of Foreign Wars post commander Doug Ferguson says about 45 bikers are expected to come from Brigham City with another 30 or 40 joining in Ogden. The number of riders changes daily.
The memorial ride began in Eugene, Oregon, and will end Aug. 3 in Sturgis, South Dakota. A torch will remain lit throughout the ride and is pulled in a small trailer by a motorcycle. The ride will honor 25 soldiers and their families.
