TOOELE, Utah (AP) — Utah authorities say some high school students have received minor injuries after a school bus rear-ended another school bus on a highway.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce did not know how many students were injured in the accident on westbound Interstate 80 on Monday afternoon.
Royce told KSL-TV (http://bit.ly/1yKoIZK ) that two lanes of the highway near the Saltair venue were temporarily closed because of the accident.
He says a truck merging onto the highway in that area caused one of the school buses to break quickly and the other bus to hit it.
Details about where the buses were headed or which district they belonged to were not immediately released.
