HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marshall University will offer a new bachelor's degree program in health care management.
The university says in a news release that the Lewis College of Business will launch the degree program this fall, although current students can begin taking courses this semester.
Program director Kent Willis says the degree will help give students the tools to become administrators or managers of health care programs at employers such as hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, nursing homes, managed care organizations and drug manufacturers.
