SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police in the Utah County city of Saratoga Springs shot and killed a man wielding a samurai sword Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for the city says someone called police dispatch about the man about 9:40 a.m.
City spokesman Owen Jackson says two officers confronted the 22-year-old near a strip of businesses. At least one officer fired, killing the man.
A team from the Utah County Attorney's Office is investigating.
