NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Illinois State University officials say a student has been critically injured after a hit-and-run accident.
ISU President Larry Dietz says student Benjamin Allison of Crystal Lake was hurt in the accident. The (Bloomington) Pantagraph reports (http://bit.ly/1BrNOtQ ) that officials say Allison was struck by a vehicle and found in a Normal intersection Saturday morning.
Dietz says Allison was a communication major and student staff member at WZND.
Police have arrested a suspect in the case.
