CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — The average ACT score for in-state freshmen at the University of Illinois' Urbana-Champaign campus dropped this fall for the first time at least a decade, part of a strategy by the school to enroll more students from Illinois. The ACT scores for incoming in-state freshmen over the past 10 years are as follows:
2015: 28.28
2014: 28.86
2013: 28.49
2012: 28.27
2011: 28.19
2010: 28.18
2009: 28.18
2008: 27.94
2007: 27.79
2006: 27.57
