CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire health officials have confirmed a flu-related death of an adult.
Public Health Director Jose Montero says the person was from Hillsborough County.
Montero said Thursday the state doesn't normally track flu deaths, because some people who die also have pneumonia, which is related to the flu.
He said for public health purposes, the state follows flu-related fatalities in children; none have been recorded this season.
