DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — Firefighters outside Atlanta are battling a major blaze at an apartment complex, where a fire official says a man was found dead inside.

Atlanta TV station CBS 46 reports that shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday, flames had engulfed one of the buildings along a road in DeKalb County.

Video from WSB-TV shows smoke pouring from the roof of one of the buildings as firefighters inside spray water at the flames.

DeKalb County Fire Capt. Eric Jackson told reporters at the scene that firefighters found the man's body inside the complex. Jackson said the man, who is in his late 20s, was found in a bedroom where officials believe the blaze began.
