HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A 9-year-old boy has died after his father accidentally ran over him while they were cleaning the garage.
KSNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1FmYlGN ) that Henderson spokeswoman Michelle French says the man hit Austen Russell on Saturday while backing up in the family truck.
She says he tossed an item to the boy before getting in the truck and didn't realize his son had missed the catch and gone under the truck to retrieve it.
French say neighbors performed CPR on the boy but he died at an area hospital.
