RENO, Nev. (AP) — U.S. Marshals say a man wanted for attempted murder in California has been arrested in Nevada.
The U.S. Marshals Service says 27-year-old Dale Williams Jr. was apprehended Thursday in Reno, along with three others, in a joint investigation with FBI and local law enforcement.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, Williams is suspected in the September 2015 vehicle-to-vehicle shooting that wounded a man in Stockton.
Marshals learned this week that Williams had fled to Reno.
He has been booked into a Washoe County jail pending extradition to California.
The investigation also led authorities to arrest 28-year-old James Earl Harper and 26-year-old Jashawn Collins on local charges involving weapons and drug-related crimes.
A juvenile was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
