MIDDLETON, Idaho (AP) — Canyon County authorities say a man has been hospitalized after being shot by his father.
KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1WLBHCa ) that the victim arrived at a Middleton fire station seeking help Monday afternoon and was transported to a Boise hospital. An update on his condition is not known.
The names of the son and father have not yet been released. But authorities say the shooting occurred at a residence after a fight broke out between an 80-year-old father and his 55-year-old son.
Authorities say the father drove his son to the fire station.
Investigators were working to determine if the shooting was accidental or intentional.
The incident remains under investigation.
