SAN DIEGO (AP) — Public health authorities in San Diego say they have identified three "probable" cases of measles amid a wider outbreak of the disease.
As with confirmed cases, the cases announced Monday involved people who traveled to Disneyland last month.
San Diego County's Health and Human Services Agency says two have recovered while one is still ill and being kept at home. None had been vaccinated.
The agency expects to have the results of confirmatory blood tests this week.
Several dozen people — nearly all from Southern California — have contracted the disease either during a mid-December visit to the Orange County theme park or after coming into contact with someone who went there.
The virus spreads easily by air. Symptoms include fever and a blotchy body rash.
